Nexen's technical summer student program includes students studying engineering, geology, and geophysics. The objective of this program is to identify high potential students for consideration for future new graduate positions. Students are assigned specific projects for their four-month work term, which gives students practical business experience in their designated field of study. This work term allows Nexen to evaluate the technical students for future opportunities and for the students to determine if Nexen is the employer for them.
