Co-op Program
Nexen offers co-op opportunities which allow students to gain practical experience and contribute to projects in their field of study. These paid work terms, lasting four or eight months, enable students to develop technical skills to compliment their academic learning. Co-op students, recruited from both universities and colleges, not only meet Nexen’s short-term needs, but provide a potential source of future full-time employees.
Co-op student positions are posted three times a year:
- January for a May start date
- May for a September start date
- September for a January start date
To be eligible for this program, students must be enrolled in a co-op program sponsored by an accredited post-secondary institution.
