Biography
Dick Thomson, 74, is a retired banking executive. He was with the Toronto-Dominion Bank, one of Canada's largest banks, since 1957, as Chair from 1978 until his retirement in 1998 and as President from 1972 to 1978.

Dick holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. He is an Officer of the Order of Canada.

Dick is a member of the board of the Multiple Sclerosis Scientific Research Foundation.

Based on our retirement policy, Mr. Thomson will not stand for election in 2009.

Dick currently resides in Toronto, Ontario.
