We encourage employees to discuss any integrity-related concerns with their supervisor or manager, Integrity Leader, human resource representative or our Chief Legal Officer.

2. Integrity Helpline
Integrity concerns can be reported through Nexen's Integrity Helpline which is administered by a third party, external service provider. The Integrity Helpline enables confidential reporting via the internet or by telephone. The Integrity Helpline can be accessed through Nexen's internal and external websites.
3. Accounting Related Complaints
Accounting Related Complaints may be made directly to the Chair of the Audit and Conduct Review Committee in an envelope labelled: "To be opened by the Chair of the Audit and Conduct Review Committee only - Submitted pursuant to the Ethics Policy" and sent to the following:

Anonymity: While it is preferred that integrity concerns be raised directly with someone at Nexen who can act upon the concern, it is recognized that anonymity may be desired. Reports to the Integrity Helpline can be made anonymously while still facilitating two-way communication. EthicsPoint will not disclose a reporter's identity, nor will Nexen take any steps to attempt to determine it from them.
Employees or external stakeholders who want to remain anonymous are strongly encouraged to use the Integrity Helpline rather than using other means such as an anonymous note or letter.
