We received the Award of Excellence in Corporate Governance Disclosure in the 2008 Corporate Reporting Awards from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA). The CICA represents chartered accountants across Canada and in Bermuda.

Conference Board of Canada
In 2007 we were awarded the Conference Board of Canada/Spencer Stuart National Award in Governance. This prominent award was presented to Nexen in the private sector category for its innovative governance practices, including the "governance roadshow" - a tool dedicated to building relationships through face-to-face meetings with stakeholders.
