Nexen’s Health, Safety, Environment and Social Responsibility (HSE&SR) activities are guided by our HSE&SR Policy (PDF 0.1MB). This policy outlines, among other things, Nexen’s commitment to conduct our business with respect and care for people and the environment.

Our HSE&SR Management System provides the framework for managing Nexen’s HSE&SR performance. The management system includes 12 elements covering topics such as leadership and commitment, training, and supply chain management. We conduct internal and external audits to assess the effectiveness of these systems.
