We offer challenging careers as a major UK North Sea operator and developer. Nexen is the second largest producer in the UK North Sea, and we're growing. In 2012, we produced an average of 99,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day net to Nexen, primarily from the offshore Buzzard field, 60 miles northeast of Aberdeen. We're currently constructing our next major development at nearby Golden Eagle — the second largest UK North Sea discovery of the past decade, after Buzzard. We continue to explore and appraise future opportunities and expect to generate significant economic benefit for the UK for many years to come.
